My great-grandfather was Rufus Marion Chesser. His father was William D Chesser and his mother was Nancy Benson. They lived around Birmingham, AL. I found info that he and his two brothers, James F. and John were born in Yorkville District of South Carolina. I can’t find their father or mother. If you have any direction for me, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
