I would like to know if Narcissa Chesser was Indian. I am the daughter in law of Notie Chesser Barfield (her daughter) and she told me her mother was Indian. I have found month and year of her birth but not birth cet.. I am interested to know. Was
she raised by white people? She is listed on census in 1860 in Marshll County Tenn.
as white. Thank you for any help. I will be of help to you if I have info., about her family here in Texas.
